Specifications

A. Opening notes

The evolution of the textile production, in terms of technology and raw material, requires that  the quality standards increase and, consequently, the normalization of our rules of quality  control and of our way of operating, before our Customers and Suppliers. The specifications  are a set of standards that specify our quality standards, our tolerances, our working methods  and their applicable penalties or bonuses. It should be noted that these specifications are  subject to periodic revisions / changes in order to monitor the evolution of ECO TEXTILE and its  quality.

B. Specifications directed to the Customer

  1. Product development
  • All changes to production models made during the development period must be properly  placed in the final technical data sheet to be used as production guide.

  • It is the customer’s entire responsibility for any changes made to the project that do not  appear in the final technical packs for the production.

  • Any changes made during development that are not on the technical packs and that are  discussed by telephone or email, will be carried out in the best way possible by ECO TEXTILE,  however, without guarantees.

  • All seam adjustments or special fitting specifications that change the fitting or are critical to  the model must be clearly stated by the technical packs.
  1. Product production and quality control
  • If the raw material and accessories for production are supplied by the customer, ECO TEXTILE is not responsible for their quality control, and it is ECO TEXTILE ‘s sole responsibility to alert  the customer to any defect / anomaly of these components.

  • Pieces leaving the production line with defects / anomalies resulting from raw materials  supplied by the customer, are not the responsibility of ECO TEXTILE, since they were not  subject to the abovementioned quality control.

  • Defective pieces produced with raw materials and accessories not supplied by ECO TEXTILE will be billed and counted as normal pieces.

  • The customer accepts up to 2% of production defect margin (non-serious defects) that are  not detected in the final quality control.

  • For the purpose of the previous point, we consider non-serious defects as minor changes in  the seam that are not very visible, small breakages of the piece caused by the confection /  dyeing process, or any other anomaly that is not visible, which does not jeopardize the quality  of the piece, nor the way of wearing it.

  • Pieces with these non-serious defects that are detected in the final quality control, can be  sent to the customer, after confirmation of their own, with a discount of 30% of the value of  the piece.

  • The customer has 48 hours to complain about a defect in production. The date counts from  the day of receipt of the order to the customer’s address.

  • Direct productions (without sample sent to the client) are considered 100% approved, after  sending photographs to the client and approval of the same by the client.
  1. Payments
  • All customers who are producing for the first time with ECO TEXTILE must pay the first  production at 100% before the beginning of the same. In subsequent productions, the  standard is the payment of 50% before production and the remaining 50% before the  production is shipped.

  • For Private Label production, payment is always 100% prior to production, unless a sample is  requested (see point ‘samples’).

  • All shipping payments must be made prior to shipment of any product (production, sample  or accessories / raw materials).
  1. Shipping
  • All shipments are at the customer’s responsibility and risk. Since ECO TEXTILE does not have  a transportation department, all shipments scheduled by ECO TEXTILE, are no longer the  responsibility of the same from the moment of collection by a carrier.

  • Shipments / collections scheduled or carried out by our customers are the sole responsibility  of themselves. ECO TEXTILE is not responsible for costs, losses or customs withholding. It is up  to the client to resolve any situation arising from these shipments / collections.
  1. Samples
  • All samples are charged 2x of their production price.

  • All samples made by ECO TEXTILE that are not confirmed for production will be taxed on all  the hours provided for its development + the sample price.

  • Private Label products do not include sample production. If the customer requests a sample,  they will have to pay 50% of the production in advance + cost of the sample charged 2x.

  • Sample prices are always given as an estimate based on 300 pieces. Possible changes in these prices in production are safeguarded whenever there are changes in the prices of raw  materials, accessories or dyeing.
  1. Waiting times
  • The waiting time for sample production is 1-2 weeks.

  • The waiting time for final production is 4-6 weeks.

  • All waiting times mentioned in the above points will start to be accounted for as soon as ECO  TEXTILE holds all raw materials, accessories, labels and applicable payments.

  • All the waiting times mentioned above are applicable except for occasional changes resulting  from the high workflow on the production line.

  • Whenever there are changes to the models during production, confirmation of the ECO  TEXTILE is required and the waiting times are reset again from the date of approval.
  1. Legal issues
  • All legal situations or issues that may occur between a client and ECO TEXTILE are the sole  responsibility of the Spanish Court.
